Take my breath away is an invitation ​for people who are curious to feel and see a performance through breathing. During this one-to-one encounter, the performer introduces the participant to various scores for concentrating and noticing their breath originating from performance art, BDSM, and mindfulness practices. The performer witnesses and facilitates the participant’s journey through the performance.

Take my breath away is the continuation of our exploration on how to breathe in a performance this time on a stage, at the Jokistudio residency. This new iteration explores the theatre stage as a space for intimacy. The work approaches breathing from different perspectives: as a conscious practice and as a source of pleasure.
